Hello there,
I just got back to the cabin from my favorite spot. It's about a 30-minute hike from where I'm typing, just where the tree line opens up to a small field. I follow the creek waters down the edge of the field, then lean back against a sturdy Redwood and wait. Sure enough, a deer and her foal eventually emerge from the other side for a little midday snack. Just around noon, like clockwork. It's a treat to watch nature at its best.
Of course, in my travels I've found spots like this all over the country. I love sharing these little gems. It's why we started up Redwood Creek Corkordinates. Check out the cork from any Redwood Creek bottle of wine, and we've put the coordinates of one of our favorite hiking spots across the country. Every Corkordinate you discover rewards you points that can be redeemed for all kinds of neat stuff, like our wonderful vintage poster series.
Oh, and here's a little bonus - pop in those corkordinates at corkordinates.com and get 300 points, plus we'll thrown in an additional +100 points during the month of November! It's just one more reason to pick up a bottle of our Sauvignon Blanc. Its fresh citrus notes layered with gooseberry and melon flavors deserve to be paired with an experience just as crisp and refreshing. Speaking of refreshing experiences, check out member dimwizard's Sauvignon Blanc inspired Basil Goat Cheese Pizza.
So grab a CORKordinate from your next bottle of Redwood Creek Sauvignon Blanc and start your own adventure. Cal approved, of course.
