We joined The Green Center in University City, Missouri for their 10th anniversary celebration honoring fire, which is used to maintain Missouri prairies and create beautiful glass and ceramic artwork.
Partiers huddled around the glowing campfire for stories, s'mores, glassblowing lessons, and fire-spinning performances. And as added escape from the cold November evening, the event continued indoors where various works by local artists were displayed and where I stayed toasty, pouring Redwood Creek wines for guests.

Located on 30 acres of native habitat in University City, The Green Center is an arts and environmental education organization dedicated to helping people understand the natural world through hands-on experiences, restoring native habitats, and encouraging artistic expression inspired by nature. All proceeds from the night and from ongoing art sales benefit the Center's Youth Arts-Science programs.
