On the 20th of June, I attended the Wild Canid Research Center in Eureka, MO. We received an insightful education on the different wolves located at this beautiful location and learned what this organization is doing to help preserve them. We enjoyed some Redwood Creek Wines and marched out into the night towards where the wolves were staying. The experts used their knowledge on the howl of the wolf, cupped their hands, and emitted a welcome call to their friends. After some time, we received a reponse from the wolves. We also had the opportunity to try our howling prowess...some better than others. All in all a great time.

I'm glad you mentioned the wolf santuary. I pass through Eureka frequently on weekends. I'm going to make an effort to spend some time at the sanctuary. Sounds like a fun and interesting event. And as my close friends know, I love to mimic nature sounds (the kid in me).
