About
In our book, Cowell Ranch is about the finest 1,300 acres you can find. The land was created over the centuries by earth that was brought down from the Sierras by the Merced River, which runs smack dab through the middle of our vineyard. Today, the Merced irrigates our arbors with mineral-rich water that bubbles up from the base of Half Dome in Yosemite Valley and flows 80 miles downstream to us. All that rich, flavorful character is squeezed from each grape at Cowell Ranch and other vineyards to create Redwood Creek Wines. So next time you’re hiking up in the Sierra and come across a creek or spring, wish that water well. It might just be heading off to do some pretty noble work.

I think my last foster home was somewhere in the area I lived 15 miles east of Oakdale Ca. on a dairy farm not far from a Hersy plant.
Redwood Creek reminds me of lush green landscapes, brilliant bright sunrises and long quiet lingering red sunsets. I've always considered Florida God's country, but Redwood Creek country is running a good second.nsbred
Why aren't you here in Idaho
You have the perfect job!! Glad you have it!! Love that Redwood Creek!
Since I'm nowhere near California, I guess I'll just have to enjoy it vicariously, while I sip a cool Redwood Creek wine.
I love your vineyard and will visit when I'm in the area
